CYP produces a range of resources to support and develop excellent work with young people. Some provide ideas and advice about running engaging, challenging activities in clubs and projects. while develop effective management.

The SAP Pack , for example, covers all the key ingredients from set up to evaluation and even fundraising and networking for 30 fresh and engaging activities

The Quality Mark scheme gives clubs and projects the opportunity to attain a mark of recognition that will boost external profile and fundraising potential. The Volunteer Handbook is a comprehensive guide to attracting, attaining and developing this vital workforce.

The Keystone Awards form a comprehensive scheme for developing and accrediting young people's achievements outside the classroom. Its four stages form a natural precursor to the Duke of Edinburgh's Award, building young people's confidence and bolstering their Record of Achievement. Read more

Notts CYP have two qualified Sports Coaches that are set up to run 6 week coaching sessions in the Clubs or projects.  The coaches are happy to coach all sports and even do a multi-sports session to keep participants entertained.  The participants will each receive a certificate for participation and also have the chance to receive an OCN Accredited outcome.

 
 

Notts CYP also have a full drugs kit available to Clubs and Projects to educate young people on the dangers of drugs. The kit has all replica drugs and a description of what the drug is and what it contains.  The Drugs kit also comes with a quiz for the Young People to take part in.
