Nottinghamshire Clubs for Young People Limited, (Notts CYP) is a Voluntary umbrella Youth Organisation with over 45 affiliated Clubs and Projects throughout the City and County of Nottinghamshire .
Established in 1935, the Association has been providing information, advice and support to its members, as well as training programmes and, most importantly, lots of opportunities for young people to participate in sport, arts, music, educational and adventurous activities.
Most of these events are Countywide in nature, bringing young people together from all areas of the City and County. Many events also create Regional and National opportunities.
More recently we have been able to respond to Member Clubs' requests to provide more specialist youth sessions such as Sports Coaching, Get Active ,and Keystone Awards.
Currently based at The Monty Hind Centre, the Association also has a 30-bed Residential and Training Centre, as well as some of the best facilities available in any Youth Club.
Originally formed to meet the needs of young men, the Association now seeks to respond to the needs of all young people, particularly those most disadvantaged in today's society, seeking to allow them to develop to their fullest potential.
Whilst the vision and values remain unchanged, our programme of Events, Activities and Training is constantly changing in response to the needs of our members.
